Phil Armiger MPT, is a licensed physical therapist with over 25 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy.  He earned a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science in 1985 from the University of Colorado, and a master’s degree in physical therapy from Hahnemann University (now Drexel) in Philadelphia, in 1994.  He was certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a strength and conditioning specialist in 1997.  As all licensed therapists, Phil has many hours of continuing education, in this case, with a focus on orthopedics and manual therapy, gait, biomechanics and running analysis, custom foot orthotic design and intervention, and bicycle fitting.

Phil is an avid outdoors person who enjoys skiing (alpine, alpne touring, nordic skate and classic), hiking, climbing, biking, kayaking, and sailing, to name a few.  He is the training director for the Outdoorsforall Nordic program and has been for over 20 years.  He also teaches Alpine, Telemark, and Cross Country skiing, and is a nordic instructor trainer (DCL)  for the Professional Ski Instructors Association.  He is certified by PSIA as a level II Alpine, level II Telemark, and a level III plus DCL in cross country.  He also teaches sailing, and is certified by US Sailing, and holds a USCG captain’s license (OUPV). Phil specializes in the treatment of active people. People who wish to return to their activity and are willing to work to get there – people like runners (and walkers), hikers, climbers, skiers,  snowboarders, swimmers, baseball, football, lacrosse, and basketball players. He wants to help people, who want to move – MOVE!
