At physio_logic physical therapy you will see the physical therapist for the entire treatment hour. No aides or assistants. We are able to do this because we do not have an army of employees chasing down insurance claims, and have enabled on line scheduling for your convenience.

Insurance Coverage

We will provide you with the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance company for out of network coverage. Once you are an established patient of physio_logic physical therapy, you will have access to your invoices/payments through your secure portal.

Typical Physical Therapy Clinic Model

Typical physical therapy clinics bill $150 – $300 for an evaluation, and somewhat less for follow up visits. If you have insurance coverage, some of this may be covered – at varying rates, under varying conditions according to your particular insurance company. This charge may be for 20, 30, 40, 45 or 60 minutes depending upon the clinic. You may see the actual therapist for a fraction, or up to all of that time (treatments being shared with aides and/or assistants).

Deductibles and Co-pays

Many people have to meet deductibles, before their insurance will kick in. This can be hundreds, or thousands of dollars that you have to pay before your insurance pays a penny. Even after you have met your deductible, you may have a co-pay, for each visit. These range from $25 to $75 dollars, every visit.

Fewer overall visits

Also, as we are able to spend all of your appointment time with you, without the distraction of bogus insurance hoops and distractions, or shuffling you off to an aide or assistant, you may be able to be seen less frequently and more efficiently, leading to faster improvement, and overall shorter courses of physical therapy. In the short run this may also mean that you can be seen on once or twice weekly for 4 -6 weeks, versus 3 times weekly for many months. As most people don’t live next door to their PT clinic, the time savings in the commute to and from therapy is also obvious.

In the end, this model provides you with better service at a comparable price, which may even prove cheaper in the long run.
